This is a short program I wrote to help manage large amounts of RA maps, preventing RA from trying to load all of them into memory at once. You have the option of enabling or disabling maps at will. You may also view (but not edit) any map you have. I have also written a small search engine to help you find that really good map you lost.
The main screen is pretty straightforward. Put the RAMM executable into your RA directory, and start it up. In the left-most box you should see a bunch of filenames. If not, then navigate to the correct directory and/or drive using the appropriate controls. Find a map you like and click on it. The right-most frame should then display information regarding the appropriate map. Notice the bottom two radio buttons. These control the map's availablity. Any file that is disabled will be renamed to *.mps. You may also enable or disable ALL your maps at once. To do so, use the appropriate item in the "File" menu. Viewing map code is accomplished using the utton marked as such.
The search engine is accessed by the "Search|Search for a map" menu item. This will take you to the search screen. Using the various items here will allow you to find a map (or maps) matching certain criteria. Note that the name field refers to the map's full name, NOT the filename. Wildcards ("?" and "*") may be used here.
